We have a key lock-box on site. We will send you check-in instructions on the day as well as the code for the lockbox via SMS and/or e-mail.

Check-in at Lions Heart Apartment is from 15:00, and check-out is until 10:00. Please let us know if you are planning to arrive after 9pm.

Yes there is a single car garage, plus there is typically parking available on the street as well. Please note that the driveway into the garage is fairly steep so if you are renting a car we recommend getting an SUV which will have a better approach angle.

If there are major border closures that affect your stay we offer free refunds up to 7 days prior to your stay. If the cancellation is within 7-days we will offer a full credit for a future booking.

Yes linen is provided for 8 guests (5 beds). This includes towels.

Yes there is a fireplace and there should be enough wood for the length of your stay. If not there are lots of vendors of firewood close by. There is also a heat-pump / Aircon and heaters in all the rooms.

Yes there is a dry room next to the garage that can be locked.

Yes we are very popular with families. There is a lot to do in town for teenagers, but we also have an X-Box, DVD player, Netflix, books, board games available. We also have a porta-cot, play mat and high chair available for little ones.

The apartment is roughly 200m from town. The road up to the apartment is fairly steep, but the view is worth it when you see the view from the top.

Our maximum occupancy is 8. Please note that that includes 2 people sleeping on a fold out couch in the media room. There is also a porta-cot available.

Unfortunately not, but there are a lot of companies in town that offer this service and you can pre-book. The quickest way to get to the apartment is to catch an Uber or a Taxi. They are freely available from the airport. A taxi is typically around NZ$50 and a Uber is $30 (depending on how budy they are).
